Clear, honest words about ADHD and neurodivergence
Before I became an ADHD and executive function coach, I spent 25 years in communications, writing and shaping messages for global brands, founder-led companies, and leadership teams across the Middle East. I now bring that experience, and my own experience of ADHD, to writing, media, and speaking about neurodivergence. I want people to come away understanding ADHD as it really is, with its talents and its barriers, without hype and without pity.

ADHD from both sides
Diagnosed with ADHD at 45, parent of a son with ADHD, and training as a coach with the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA).
Ways to work together
Writing and editorial
Articles, opinion pieces, regular columns, and guest features on ADHD and neurodivergence for magazines, newsletters, websites, and organisations. Researched, readable, and respectful of the people they describe.
Media and commentary
Interviews and expert comment for print, radio, TV, and podcasts, including timely comment when ADHD is in the news. I can speak as an ADHD coach, as someone diagnosed in adulthood, and as a parent.
Speaking and panels
Keynotes, talks, panel discussions, and moderation for conferences, workplaces, parent communities, and schools. Each one is shaped around your audience and what you'd like them to leave with.
Neuro-inclusive communication
Reviewing and rewriting guides, internal communications, policies, and web content so they work better for neurodivergent readers, and usually for everyone else too. I also edit content about ADHD and neurodivergence for clear, accurate, and respectful language.
Topics I write and speak about
A starting point, not a fixed menu. Each one can be shaped for a parent, school, workplace, clinical, or general audience.
Diagnosed at 45
What a late ADHD diagnosis changes, what it doesn't, and the mix of relief and grief that often comes with it.
Beyond the superpower
Why ADHD can be a talent in one setting and a real barrier in another, and why both stories deserve to be heard.
Executive function, explained
Planning, starting, switching, and following through, in plain language, and why knowing what to do isn't the same as doing it.
ADHD in women and girls
Why it's so often missed or diagnosed late, and what that can mean for confidence, careers, and family life.
Parenting with ADHD
When parent and child both have ADHD: the shared understanding, the shared struggles, and routines that work for both.
Neurodivergence at work
What inclusive workplaces do differently, from how meetings run to how instructions, feedback, and deadlines are given.
Bullying, belonging, and difference
Why neurodivergent children and adults can be more exposed to bullying, and what schools and workplaces can put in place.
When "just try harder" stops working
Learned helplessness, sensitivity to rejection, and how people rebuild a sense of what's possible.
ADHD and expat life
Moves, new schools, new jobs, and support networks far from home: the transitions many families in the UAE know well.
School and home on the same page
Practical ways parents and teachers can support the same routines without adding to anyone's load.
Communicating with an ADHD brain
Email overload, messaging, meetings, and writing clearly when your attention has other ideas.
Talking about neurodivergence well
Language, stories, and images that inform without sensationalising, for editors, communicators, and brands.
